It was a tough week to be back in Wampum, but we did get inside to see the old gym. Many things have changed in the 58 years since Wampum High School was closed, but it is nice to see the old gym still standing and ready.

Yesterday I attended a reunion for my elementary school, Chewton Independent School (near Wampum). This was the first time since 8th grade I’ve been able to see several of my old classmates and teachers. So glad I went and it was great visiting with everyone and sharing memories.
