The past 24 hours have been a whirlwind of emotion and gratitude for me and my family. I want to thank Mr. Middleton and the Phillies organization for retiring #15. It is an honor of a lifetime to be recognized in the same company as Richie Ashburn, Robin Roberts, Jim Bunning, Steve Carlton, Mike Schmidt and Roy Halladay. I also want to thank my former teammates, MLB alumni & friends that have reached out during this time. Most importantly I want to acknowledge the many fans that have taken the time to express themselves via email, our website and social media accounts. Your kind words are both acknowledged and appreciated. God Bless you all!
