49 years ago, Rick Wise had a pretty good day. While he was recoving from the flu, The Phillies right-hander throws only 95 pitches to 28 batters to no-hit the Reds in Cincinnati AND he hit 2 home runs.
Wise played 12 seasons in the National League (where he was allowed to bat) and hit 15 long balls.
